IS it true tha while PDAs can connect to notebook computers, they cannot connect to PCs?

Sheron Perrez: Nope, I have an XDA II that is constantly plugged in to my desktop PC unless I need to go somewhere and I use it for GPS !So it is not true that PDA's can only connect to notebooks !
