What does the Bible say about Divorce?

Donita Desjardin: The bible said that if you did not say your vow then you are ok to file for a divorce.

Ramona Pago: It says it would make a great title for a song

Rufus Plough: The Bible says that God "hates a divorcing"........BUT.....God does make an allowance for people to divorce.....only on the grounds of fornication. That means people who divorce on any other ground, such as "irreconcilable differences" are NOT getting a divorce that is approved by God. It would be an unscriptural divorce, and an improper one....Show more

Marriage to a non-believer (Ezra 10;10-17)6. Adultery (Jeremiah 3:8)7. Sexual misconduct (Matthew 5:32;19:9)8. Unyielding attitudes (Matthew 19:8)....Show more
