answers1: We do it the same way (Also in the US). Theatre, if stage,
and Theater if it has to do with something like a cinema or a movie
hall.
answers2: I'm live in the us too, and I spell it "theatre", when
referring to stage acting. However, when it comes to cinemas I spell
it movie "theater". Overall, both are acceptable and people should
understand you either way :)
