answers3: I have Eczema and I have tried about every thing on the
market. The best lotion that doesn't make you itch is Curel. Vaseline
doesn't work for me, it holds in the heat and makes me more itchy.
answers4: Sorry to hear that, DeeJay. After years of working in aged
care and dealing with old skins / very dry skins, I'd recommend this
regime - In the shower, never use anything soapy. That dries the skin
even more. At the pharmacy, buy a tub of Aqueous Cream - a very basic
cream which will be cheap. Put a blob of it on a wash cloth and use
that for washing. It is lovely stuff and your skin will feel really
clean and silky. After the shower, massage Sorbeline Cream all over
the dry areas. Sorbeline is another really basic cream - it is the
basic ingredient in most moisturising creams. If you use it every day,
I'm sure you'll have good results. Best wishes !

answers7: Dry skin types have to be extremely careful to protect their
skin.Yogurt-honey combination helps dry skin. Make an egg pack with a
yolk, a teaspoon of honey, a tablespoon of milk powder. This is
beneficial to dry skin types. There are many helpful tips to cure dry
skin at http://useinfo-dryskin.blogspot.com/

: I have been using this great facial moisturizer called
Dermagenics. It's gentle enough for the skin around the eyes, yet also
good for the face and neck. What's so great about is that you don't
have to buy separate products, it's a complete skin care system in
one! It contians none of the potentially harmful ingredients found in
most other skin care products, such as alpha hydroxys and glycolic
acid. These ingredients can actually make your skin more susceptible
to skin damage. I recommend this to you because I have been using it
daily and the results are great. Find it at http://www.dermagenics.biz
answers9: Vaseline.. Really it works. If you make a thick layer of
vaseline on the dry skin, for instance, if you have dry feet, cover
your feet with Vaseline and wear socks to bed. You can do the same
with hands and gloves. It works wonders.
answers10: There are so many ointments out there it's unbelievable. Go
to Wal-Mart and, take your pick. They must have a thousand in stock,
some medicated, speak with the pharmacist. <br>
